better than yesterday. 75/25
I think we lucked out knock on wood. Our eldest, SG, skipped the terrible twos; she's now 3 years 4 months and it's starting... I hear three is worse than two and I don't think our three is full-blown yet. However, if it's gone by four, we lucked out.
The stragest things set her off. If I unwrap her Band-Aid, if I don't unwrap her Band-Aid, if I pick up her toys, if I don't strap in her baby Ashley, etc., etc., etc. Today's, I picked up a baby toy - interestingly, we have a baby, LB, so this would be her toy - SG flipped. I believe she wanted to give the toy to LB but, truth, I couldn't understand a word coming out of her mouth.
I know, I know, I know - these meltdowns are allegedly because she's not being understood. HOWEVER, sometimes, I think they are just about wanting everything to go her way. And this was one of those times. She landed in a time out.
And since, it's been pretty smooth around here...
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
